Happy World Refugee Day from Charles Legal Services!

World Refugee Day was first celebrated by the United Nations on June 20, 2001, to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1951 Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees.  It is meant to recognize and appreciate refugees who have fled conflict and persecution in their home countries while also honoring the courage and resilience of the refugees themselves.  It is also meant to celebrate the diversity and compassion of the nations where refugees settle.  

Charles Legal Services remains committed to refugees and asylum-seekers building new lives in the United States.  It will do everything possible to help them find prosperity, purpose, and peace in their new home.
